| Abstract | The Substituted thiophenes are important synthetic building blocks in the research areas of materials and organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and drug development. Various thiophene based molecules were found to be biologically active compounds. We present, reagents and chemical methodologies for the synthesis of Regioselective C(3)-H acetoxylation of 2-(aminoethyl)-thiophene systems by using various bidentate directing groups. several thiophene-based biaryl derivatives were reported to show a range of biological activities and considered as medicinally important compounds. Further, thiophene-based biaryl derivatives are used as building blocks in organic materials and organic synthesis |
